Started at 46, marathon was on the bucket list

I started aged 46 in 2013. All because I wanted to run a marathon. I had no experience of running beforehand and knew no runners, running was not in my world. But I decided to go for it, by God it was tough but I cracked on and completed a marathon, Snowdon marathon.
By the time I had ran that marathon I had met someone thru running, lost weight and had tasted the running events world. So decided I can't go back to who I was before running.
Now 4 years later, I have relocated, got married, ran 14 official marathons.
I'm afraid I'm not one who's in love with running and it's rare for me to come home saying I had a great run. But I do lots of training because I enter daft events which need lots of training, it can get repetitive, but you plod on. So, yes I was an older starter, and if I can, you can.
